AMOEBA in biology at school, i just loved the concept of this one celled organism with it's swishing one hair follicle and it's pseudopodium (false foot) taking that first evolutionary step for mankind, wanting to move up in the world, wanting to get out of the swamp. The will to survive, multiply and progress. and look what we went through to get to us human beings - fins, scales, shells, trotters, horns, wings, bushy tails. This song is homage to that little amoeba, a mere hiccup of a memory, who is inside each one of us.... somewhere.
